Our established client is seeking to grow their construction team by the addition of a brand new Estimator.
You will be joining a company which has been awarded recognition locally and internationally but not only for their business efforts and achievements but for the development and recognition of their employees.
They provide general contracting services to a wide variety of industries and sectors and you will be welcomed to join as an Estimator into a team of four (4), with reporting into the Chief Estimator and Pre-Construction Manager – (who is an inspiring and forward thinking individual, valuing professional and personal development).
You will also have an opportunity to prepare detailed estimates within the construction sector by completing quantity take-offs and analysis, while working closely with the Project Leads. Be the liaison with subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants) and client. Key point of contact for managing assigned trade subcontractors and distributing information. You will also have the opportunity to supervise/ mentor Assistant Estimators and Interns.

For a successful application, you must have experience in cost estimating for commercial, residential or light industrial projects. Formal education in construction (Diploma/Certificate) is essential with some years of experience in the estimating field.
